We are Evangelical Christian Baptists in the city of Nova Odesa.
Most people know us by the name “Prayer House” in Nova Odesa.
The church is – when people who believe in the Lord and learn to show God’s love to people in a tangible way. At the moment, the church is engaged in many areas of services: Children’s meetings Online camp, Weekly services, Social projects, Volunteer center, Bible study groups, Meetings for girls “Their lives changed by Jesus” Training for women

PROJECTS

Online Camp

Online Camp – what means “in touch”! A project that was born in peaceful times, but in 2022 received a new meaning and direction!
Online Camp is a space for children and teenagers. Now he gathers children of our city and children displaced to our city as refugees during the war. More than 50 children gather every Sunday. And there are weeks when there are 90-100. We have camp-style services every Sunday.
Each meeting includes a thematic lesson where we get to know the Bible and its heroes, we also learn to respect, be good friends, obey parents, etc.
Also we have creativity, active games, quizzes, master classes and special holidays (Birthday Day, Thanksgiving Day, Goodbye Summer, Sweetheart Day, Christmas).
The mission of Online camp is to show God’s love in a tangible way for these children

Humanitarian help

From the first days of the war in Ukraine, we understood that we cannot stand aside from the situation in our country.
Many people were forced to leave their homes and move out, they needed help with housing, food, clothing, blankets, and sometimes they just needed to listen and pray together.
This is how our volunteer center, created at the church, and started its work. We try to do our best to help people according to their needs.
Today we are working in the following directions: help with food productsю, help with hygiene products, assistance to victims of the consequences of rocket attacks, building basements in settlements that are under constant shelling, charity fair to collect funds for the purchase of nightlight for the Armed Forces, help with medication. And we also respond whenever possible to individual requests of people who find themselves in difficult financial conditions.

Renovation

Today, is the time when the changes has come not only in our lives, ministry, hearts, but also in the premises of our church.
Our church building has its own history, which is more than 100 years old.Today, it needs repair and reconstruction to continue the life of the church and serve the people.
It so happened that before the war we had already started repair work. The first need was to replace the electricity and heating, and the walls and ceiling needed repairs.
When the war came to the country, all the funds that were planned for repairs went to help people who turned to us.
That’s why we need your help today.

We need your help

Before the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine, the team of our church started repair work: partial insulation of the walls, knocking down and leveling the floor for heating. After 24.02.22, the funds collected by the church for further repair work were used for the needs of people who asked for help because they were forcibly relocated to our city. And for some time the issue of repairing took a back seat. But from 05/21/22 we started a children’s project – Online Camp. 70-90 children came every Sunday. Ours summers meetings in the yard were comfortable, but… Winter is coming, and the repair project has become relevant again, because the children need to be moved to a warm room.
Today, we need your financial help and prayers for the ministry that the church team are doing. Our team is involved in many projects, there is not enough time physically to carry out all the construction work on our own. Funds are also needed for the purchase of materials. We believe that God will open your hearts, because we see the blessings of the children’s project already within 6 months.
Every amount is important for the Lord and for us! Be a part of serving children in this difficult time!

God has a plan, we have a calling and a purpose! So, when you know how to do good, but you don’t do it, you are committing a sin! So go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We thank God that even in such a difficult time, the full team of our church remained in the city and was open to the call – serving people. Our mission is to show God’s love to people regardless of their life circumstances. Today, each of us is an instrument in God’s hands, so it is important to hear His call and respond on it.

Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will also help you, I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Ukraine will definitely win, because the truth is on our side, God is with us!
